Standard features
Apprentice's Tempo MES enables operators to easily configure a secure integration with the critical systems and equipment their organization uses to manufacture their products, all without writing a single line of code. This feature, known as "No Code Integration," allows organizations to connect to critical systems quickly (without the intervention or expenditure of precious Engineering resources) and immediately leverage them during processes such as procedure authoring. Thus far, "No Code Integrations" have been developed for the following platforms/protocols:
- Ignition SCADA
- OSIsoft PI
- Veeva
- OPC UA
- Ganymede
- TetraScience
- DeltaV Alarms & Events
In addition to "No Code Integrations", Tempo also supports programatic API level integrations via our Restful Web API. Full documentation is available via the following link: https://documenter.getpostman.com/view/15520215/UVC8DS9r
Optional features
Recognizing the vital importance of data integrity and robustness to our customers and partners in the life sciences industry, "No Code Integrations" have been developed to take advantage of "highly available, fault tolerant platforms" in that a redundant data source can be configured via the Redundancy tab for each available Integration Type.
ISA-95 pyramid
ANSI/ISA-95, or ISA-95 as it is more commonly referred, is an international standard from the International Society of Automation for developing an automated interface between enterprise and control systems. The ISA-95 pyramid displayed below is a visual representation of the top 4 levels of automation deployed by a typical pharmaceutical manufacturing facility.
