## General headset commands
General commands, also known as global commands, can be used to navigate the headset device whether you are logged in to Tandem or not.

| Navigate home | Navigates to the home page |
| Navigate back | Navigates to previous screen |
| Apps and notifications | Displays a list of recent applications, notifications, and application access settings |
| My programs | Displays a list of applications available on the headset |
| Settings | Displays a list of adjustable headset settings |
| Page up | Navigates up in the page view |
| Page down | Navigates down in the page view |
| Show help | Displays window with help commands associated with the current screen |
| Hide help | Hides window with help commands associated with the current screen |
| My controls | Displays control panel with commonly used headset settings |
| Select item # | Selects the action on the screen you want to move forward with |
| Mute microphone | Mutes the headset device's microphone |
| Tandem | Opens the Tandem application |
| Show notifications | Displays a list of recent notifications |
| Recent applications | Displays a list of applications running in the background |
| Dismiss all | Dismisses current running applications |
Tandem dashboard commands
The below voice commands can only be utilized when a user is logged into the Tandem application on the headset device. Review the table below to determine which voice commands can be used from the Tandem dashboard.

| Log out | Logs the user out of Tandem |
| Refresh | Reloads the Tandem application |
| Menu | Displays menu items for Capture, Refresh, Broadcast, or Log Out capabilities |
| Call [insert user first name here] | Initiates a Tandem call with a participant of your choice |
| Broadcast | Voice memo functionality that sends a voice note to other active headset users that are part of the same team |
| Capture | Allows headset to capture solo photos or videos without the need to be in an active Tandem call |
| Snapshot | Opens the camera to take an image outside of a Tandem session |
| Recording | Opens the camera to take a video outside of a Tandem session |
| All contacts | Navigates to a list of all users in your organization |
| Favorites | Navigates to an abbreviated contact list of the user's favorites |
| Search | Allows a user to search for contacts utilizing the RealWear keyboard |
Tandem session commands
The below voice commands can only be utilized when a user is logged into the Tandem application on the headset device. Review the table below to determine which voice commands can be used while in an active Tandem session.

| Switch view | Switches the screen view to another active user in the session |
| Menu | Displays in-session menu items for Snapshots, Add User, Toggle Flashlight, Mute and Screen Off, and Diagnostics capabilities |
| Snapshots | Shows a list of screenshots taken during the Tandem session |
| Add User | Displays a list of contacts in your organization to add to the current Tandem session |
| Toggle flashlight | Toggles the flashlight on or off |
| Mute | Mutes the headset operator's microphone in the Tandem session |
| Screen on | Turns the headset operator's screen view on |
| Screen off | Turns the headset operator's screen view off |
| Diagnostics | Displays a list of current headset and network diagnostics |
| End session | Ends current Tandem call for the headset operator only |
