Batch Runs Overview

Once a batch template has been authored and approved, it can be assigned for execution as a batch run.

Accessing batch runs
From the left navigation panel, click cloud Tempo > Batches > Runs. A list of the batch runs that the user can view or edit displays.
Access to batch runs is limited based upon a user's role and whether they have been assigned to a specific batch run.
From this page, users can access the following functions:
- Start a new batch run
- Manage or review an existing batch run
- Customize filter views to fit display preferences
- Click Columns to select which columns to display in the list.
- Columns reflect specific information stored on a batch run within the system, including information such as Batch Run ID, Materials, and Start Date.
- Click filter_list Filter next to a column of your choice, then select a filter criteria and enter a term in the search bar to filter results.
- Click Reset Filters to reset the filter view.
- Click Columns to select which columns to display in the list.
- Toggle Calendar View to view information in terms of a campaign or location schedule or return to List View to access other page functionality.
Starting a new batch run
Users can start a new batch template from the Batch Runs page (cloud Tempo > Batches > Runs).
Before starting a new batch run, ensure that the batch template and any necessary batch parameter groups are in an effective status, then complete the applicable steps linked in the articles below:
Understanding batch run tabs
Once a batch run has been created, users can access the run by clicking the Batch Run ID on the Batch Runs page (cloud Tempo > Batches > Runs).
Each tab located at the top of a batch run provides access to specific information about the run:

The table below reflects the tab names found in v7.X.X. Tab names for v6.5.X are listed in parenthesis.
Name | Description |
---|---|
Summary | Displays high-level information about the Progress, Duration, Notifications, Users, Details, Exceptions/A-Notes and Material Outputs of the run. |
Operations | Displays all of the unit operations and procedure runs included in the batch run. To view a specific procedure run in a separate browser tab, click the more_horiz More Options icon next to any procedure name and click Procedure Run. |
Users (Assign) | Provides the ability to assign users to execute this batch and view assignees. |
Exceptions | Displays any exceptions triggered while executing the procedures included in the batch run. |
Parameters | Displays a list of any parameters added to the procedure templates included in this run and provides access to update parameters on the batch run level. |
A-Notes | Displays the type and details of any A-Note(s) created during execution. |
(Resources) v6.5.X only | Displays information about the resources added to the procedure templates included in this run. In v7.X.X, resources are collapsed into the Parameters tab. |
Attachments (Documents) | Provides access to upload or view documents attached to the batch run. |
Information | Displays a variety of batch run information and provides access to manage Start Date, End Date, Campaign, Location and batch-run-level configuration settings. |
History | Provides a history of key actions related to the batch run. |
