Updated audit logging system to accurately reflect automatic updates
Enhanced error handling and value validation
Key Benefits
Reduced Manual Entry: Eliminates the need for operators to manually enter values that can be automatically populated via references to parameters or other process actions
Time Savings: Streamlines procedure execution by automating repetitive property updates
Error Prevention: Reduces the risk of data entry errors through automation
Improved Compliance: Maintains accurate audit logs of all property changes, including automatic updates
Enhanced User Experience: Provides a more efficient workflow by automatically executing property updates when dependencies are met
Reference Process Action in Property Write
This release enhances Write Property functionality in procedure templates by enabling automatic value updates based on references to other process actions and parameters as inputs.
Key Features
New value type options for Write Property process actions: Manual Entry (user enters value manually during execution), From Step Process Action (value automatically written to the custom property from a referenced process action), and Parameter (value automatically written to the custom property from a referenced parameter)
Smart process action filtering based on custom property data types (Boolean, Measure, String, Date, Date/Time)
Compatibility validation between custom property UOMs and referenced formula actions
Enhanced value execution handling for process action and parameter references
Improved error handling and validation for property value updates
Better display of value type details in template and run reports
Clearer visibility of referenced actions and parameters in procedure documentation
Key Benefits
Reduced manual data entry through automated property value updates
Decreased risk of data type mismatches and validation errors
Improved data consistency through automated value propagation
More efficient template authoring with smart filtering of compatible actions
Better traceability of value sources in procedure documentation and reports
Enhanced template maintainability through clear value references
Streamlined execution workflow for property value updates
Custom Property Write Process Action Value or Timestamp
This update enables template authors to capture and reference both values and execution timestamps from process actions when working with date/time custom properties, while also addressing several UI and formatting inconsistencies.
Key Features
Added ability to select between process action values or execution timestamps when configuring Write Property actions for date/time fields
Support for capturing execution timestamps from all process action types
Implemented consistent date/time format handling across equipment instances, material inventory, and procedure runs
