The Tempo LES supports organizing samples within classes and subclasses based on the sample’s physical attributes. The names for specific classes and subclasses can be set based on an organization’s specific needs.
For example:
Class - Biospecimen
Subclass - Blood
Sample class and subclass list
The Samples class and subclass list is where users can view, search, or filter through a list of existing sample classes and subclasses as well as create new ones. To access the Sample class and subclass list, click Samples Class/Subclass displayed in the navigation panel to the left.

1 | Create new | Click to add a new sample class or subclass |
2 | Filter pane | Filter for different results. |
3 | Search | Type to find a sample class or subclass from within the list |
4 | Columns | Add or remove columns from the columns list |
5 | Reset Filters | Clear all the filters currently applied |
6 | More Options | Click the vertical ellipsis to access additional options |
7 | Name | Name of the class or subclass |
8 | Type | Indicates whether it is a class or subclass |
9 | Description | Class or subclass description if one was provided |
10 | Subclasses | Indicates number of subclasses within a class |
11 | Statuses | Indicates number of statuses |
12 | Custom Properties | Indicates number of custom properties |
13 | Actions | Add new subclass option available in class rows |
