# Tandem Guest Access (Guest View)

**Welcome to Apprentice Navigator!** To access the full Apprentice knowledge base, log in to Navigator. To learn more, review the [Logging in to Navigator](https://navigator.apprentice.io/docs/logging-in-to-the-apprentice-knowledge-base-navigator) article.

External guests have the ability to join an organization's Tandem session without the necessity of a registered account. Guests will only need a valid email address and access to Google Chrome in order to enter a session. Follow the steps below to learn how to join an ad-hoc Tandem session as a guest.

1. Copy and paste the Tandem session link that was shared with you into a Google Chrome web browser.

          **NOTE:**

          

You must access Tandem via Google Chrome in order to successfully join the session.

1. Click **Continue as guest**.
2. Enter your **Name** and a valid **Email** then click **Join**.

          **NOTE:**

          

It is recommended you enter your full name so the Tandem participant can recognize who is attempting to join the session.

1. (OPTIONAL) Click **Check audio and video** to adjust your audio and/or video settings.
2. Click **Request Access** when you are ready to enter the session. The waiting room displays. Please wait a few moments until you are redirected to the Tandem session.

          **IMPORTANT**!

          

If you are unable to access the session or your request is denied, ensure you have taken the following steps:

- Accessed session on Google Chrome
- Connected to a secure wireless network
- Entered a full name and valid email address
