Upgrading your devices

In order to prepare Apprentice-powered devices to receive the latest versions of the Tandem and/or Tempo application(s), users must complete a few steps to ensure their devices are up to date and ready to receive the release. Review the sections below to learn how to prepare a device for the latest version of Tempo.

NOTE:

For more information on the timing of your organization's upgrade, please reach out to your Customer Success Manager (CSM).

This guide covers the following topics:

1. Upgrading the Apprentice-powered headset

Download and install the latest headset firmware in order to receive the newest version(s) of the Tandem and/or Tempo app(s).

2. Upgrading an iOS device

Ensure your iOS device is running the latest OS, then update the Tandem app.

3. Upgrading the Tempo web app

A silent update will be pushed to the Tempo Manufacturing Cloud on the web app, which does not require any user action.

Bookmark your organization's branded URL for easy access to the Tempo Manufacturing Cloud on the web app. If you are not sure what the branded URL is, reach out to your Customer Success Manager (CSM).
