In order to prepare the Apprentice-powered headset to receive the latest versions of the Tandem and/or Tempo application(s), users must complete a few steps to ensure their device is up to date and ready to receive the release. Review the sections below to learn more about common voice commands that a user can make use of when preparing the Apprentice-powered headset for the latest Tandem and/or Tempo application(s).

Connecting headset to wireless network

Use the below voice command chain when the user needs to connect their headset device to a secure wireless network.

  • "Navigate Home" > "My Programs" > "Settings" > "Network & Internet" > "Wireless Networks" > "Network Name" > "Connect"

Checking for firmware headset update

Use the below voice command chain when the user needs to check if their headset device requires a firmware update.

  • "Navigate Home" > "My Programs" > "Wireless Update"

Syncing headset device

Use the below voice command chain when the user needs to manually sync Apprentice applications on their headset device.

NOTE:

The fourth voice command in the chain may differ for some users.

  • If you are accessing this option from the Hub Favorites page, say, "Select Item 1."
  • If you are accessing this option from the Hub main applications page, say, "Select Item 2."
  • "Navigate Home" > "My Programs" > "Hub" > "Select Item 1" OR "Select Item 2" > "This Device" > "Page Down" > "Sync Device"

Checking headset application versions

Use the below voice command chain when the user needs to check the Tandem and/or Tempo application versions on their headset device.

Tandem application

NOTE:

To confirm the latest Tandem version for your organization, please reach out to your Customer Success Manager (CSM).

  • "Navigate Home" > "My Programs" > "Settings" > "Apps & Notifications" > "Select Item 3" > "Tandem" > "Page Down" > See version number here

Tempo application

NOTE:

To confirm the latest Tempo version for your organization, please reach out to your Customer Success Manager (CSM).

  • "Navigate Home" > "My Programs" > "Settings" > "Apps & Notifications" > "Select Item 3" > "Tempo" > "Page Down" > See version number here

Dismissing headset applications

Use the below voice command chain when the user needs to close all open applications on their headset device.

  • "Recent Applications" > "Dismiss All"

Force close headset applications

Use the below voice command chain when an Apprentice application is not responding properly on the headset device.

  • "My Programs" > "Settings" > "Apps and Notifications" > "[Insert Name of App Here] " > "Force Stop" > "OK"

Locating headset serial number

Use the below voice command chain when the user needs to locate the serial number for their headset device.

  • "Navigate Home" > "My Programs" > "Settings" > "System" > "About Device" > "Status" > "Serial Number"
