How to Enable AI Agents for use in a Tempo Environment

The following information provides details to how Tempo AI Agents can be enabled and configured within a Tempo Environment.

Step 1

The first step is to work with your Apprentice Customer Success contact to enable the appropriate AI Agent feature flags for your environment:

  • AI - Ask Apprentice Execution
  • AI - Ask Apprentice Procedure Run
  • AI - Exception Monitor & Recommendations
  • AI - Procedure Approval
  • AI - Procedure Author From PDF
  • AI - Procedure Author From Prompt
  • AI - Procedure Author Migration Tool
  • AI - Procedure Run Recommendations
  • AI - Procedure Run Summary Card
  • AI - Process Agent
  • Permission Allow Lists

Step 2

Once the feature flags have been enabled in the environment, the Agents tab will be accessible in the Platform -> Team Configuration section of Tempo:

Each AI Agent can be enabled individually. Additionally, each has it's own configuration and permissions allow list:
Authoring Agent
Authoring Agent
Process Agent
Process Agent
Quality Agent
Quality Agent

Step 3

After AI Agents have been configured, if applicable, they can also be configured within the configuration settings of a procedure template:

Step 4

Lastly, when creating a procedure run, decide if you want the available AI Agents to be assigned. You can read more in the Agents Config article:
