Introduction to the Linked External Content Process Action
With the Tempo 7.5.000 release a new process action called Linked External Content has been added. This process action allows authors to add content that operators can open during execution.
There are two types of external content available to reference as part of this addition - Veeva SOPs and URL links. With Veeva SOPs, we leverage our No Code integration with Veeva to download and display the most recent effective version of Veeva SOPs (PDFs) at run time in a new tab (for both iOS and Web Execution). For URL links, when the operator executes the process action, the URL will be opened in a new tab for the operator.
Under the Attachments section on a Procedure Template, a new section is available called Linked External Content (see below), which is where authors can add/edit the external content that can be referenced within steps as an executable process action.
