Adjusting the Date and Time on Headset

Issue

If the Apprentice-powered headset does not accurately reflect the date and timezone you are working in, the user may have difficulty connecting to a wireless network or opening the Tempo application(s).

Solution

  1. Power on the headset device.
  2. On a desktop computer, navigate to the RealWear Configuration website.
  3. Click Configuration.
  4. Click Set Date & Time.
  5. Select the Date, Area, and Time of your current location.
IMPORTANT!

Un-check the Set automatically box if it does not allow you to make changes to the fields.

  1. Click Generate Barcode in the upper right corner to display a QR code.
  2. On the Apprentice-powered headset, say "My Programs," then say "Configuration."
  3. Point the headset camera toward the QR code to scan and confirm the change. A chirp tone will occur when the change is made.
