Monitor the materials, trace lots, and manually or automatically keep usage records through IoT integrations. Resource management structures can easily be defined that reflect the hierarchies, profiles, and statuses of materials and other critical operating elements.
Material classes & subclasses
Material definitions, and all further specifics like material lots and sublots, are organized into classes and subclasses within Tempo. The name, description, and other properties of classes and subclasses can be managed according to an organization's preferences.
An example of a material class might be "chemicals," a subclass might be "amino acids," and a definition might be "L-Cystine 2HCL."
Material definitions, lots & sublots
A material definition reflects a specific kind of material, such as L-Cystine 2HCL. Each material definition is organized into a class and subclass, and can contain inventory in the form of a lot or sublot. A material definition inherits the standard properties of the material classes and subclasses you select when creating it.
Once a user has created a material definition, inventory can be added in the form of a lot or sublot. Once a lot has been created, the operator can add one or more sublots to it.
Kits
PACKAGE & VERSION NOTE:
Kits are available for Tempo MES in v7.0 and subsequent versions.
A kit allows users to add sublots from multiple different lots into a single “kit” such that the kit can be readily scanned and used in a batch run.
