Changing & Resetting Your Password

Tempo Manufacturing Cloud users are required to change their password at least every 90 days.

The system provides several tools to allow users to change their own password, including a password reset link on the Login page and a Change Password section within the Security section of My Profile.

NOTES:
  • The system will lock your account after five invalid login attempts. Contact an administrator to unlock your account; you will receive a password reset email and may follow steps 5-8 in the Resetting Your Password section below to regain account access.
  • If your organization has Single Sign-On (SSO) enabled for the Tempo Manufacturing Cloud, all password options are managed through your organization's corporate authentication solution.

Resetting your password

  1. In your Google Chrome web browser, open your organization's Tempo Manufacturing Cloud web application login page.
  2. On the Login page, enter your email address in the Email field, then click Next.
  3. Click Forgot Password. The Password Reset page displays.
  4. Verify that your email address is correct in the Email field, then click Send Reset Link.
  5. Open your email account and locate and open the password reset email.
  6. Click Reset Password or copy and paste the reset password link into the Chrome address bar.
  7. On the Password Reset page, type a new password into the Password field.
NOTE:

Your password must meet the following requirements:

  • Minimum of eight characters
  • Contain at least one number
  • Contain at least one capital letter
  • Contain at least one symbol
  • Cannot be a real word
  1. Confirm your password in the Confirm Password field, then click Reset My Password. The system will log you in and display the system dashboard.
NOTE:

The process to reset your password from the Tempo iPad application is similar.

  1. From the application login page, complete steps 2-3 above.
  2. Verify that your email address is correct in the Email field on the Forgot Password page, then click Send Reset Link.
  3. Complete steps 5-8 above in your email application or web browser.

Updating your password as part of password rotation

If you have not changed your password within the last 90 days, the Tempo Manufacturing Cloud will require you to choose a new password when you log in to the system.

  1. After you provide your email address and password on the Login page, the system displays a Rotate Password page upon password expiration.
  2. On the Rotate Password page, type the new password that you wish to use in the Password and Confirm Password fields.
  3. Click Reset My Password. The system will log you in and display the system dashboard.

Changing your password within the Tempo web application

  1. On the left navigation panel, click account_circle Profile
  2. Click Security.
  3. In the Change Password section of the page, type your current password in the Current Password field, then type the new password that you wish to use in the New Password and Confirm Password fields.
  4. Click Save. A popup displays to confirm that your password has been updated.

Changing your password will log you out immediately. Use the new password to log back in.
First name must have atleast 2 characters. Numbers and special characters are not allowed.
Last name must have atleast 1 characters. Numbers and special characters are not allowed.
