Equipment Class & Subclass Overview

Equipment classes and subclasses allow organizations to categorize equipment based on their business needs. Users must create equipment classes and subclasses before an equipment instance can be added to Tempo.

Equipment Classes/Subclasses page

The Equipment Classes/Subclasses page provides access to view, search, or filter through a list of existing equipment classes and subclasses and to create new classes and subclasses.

To access the Equipment Classes/Subclasses page from the left navigation panel, click cloud Tempo > Equipment > Classes/Subclasses. A list of configured equipment classes and subclasses displays.

From this list, users can access the following functions:

• View, search, create, edit, and delete equipment class/subclass information.

• Customize filter views to fit display preferences.

  • Click Columns to select which equipment class/subclass columns to display in the list.
  • Columns reflect specific information stored on a equipment class/subclass within the system, including information such as Type, Description, Statuses, and more.
  • Click filter_list Filter next to a column of your choice, then select a filter criteria and enter a term in the search bar.
  • Click Reset Filters to reset the filter view.

• Import and export equipment classes and subclasses.
